How can I get brussel sprouts to grow better?

My plant has been growing taller, but the leaves arent growing or spreading much.

They’re slow growing, like lots of water and need to be in soil that is well drained but able to hold moisture.
And, put some nitrogen fertilizer on the soil every three weeks during the growing season.
